Play Badminton Club - Club Member of Year 2024

We are pleased to launch a new initiative to seek nominations from club members for a Club Member of the Year.

All nominees should be an active and regular member (18 years+) of the Club from at least 1 Jan 2024 or earlier.

We are looking for nominees who have demonstrated some of the following criteria. A member who has...

• gone above and beyond to make a positive impact on sessions they attend as well as the wider Club.
• made special contributions in helping other members develop their badminton game.
• demonstrated exceptional team spirit in building good relationships with all players, and helping create an inclusive environment during sessions and at Club events.
• contributed to help develop the Club but who may not always be in the spotlight.
• encouraged good practises for warm-up, cool-downs and other best practises to ensure everyone can enjoy badminton safely.
• demonstrated a positive and optimistic attitude, even when faced with challenges or setbacks or difficult games.

Final decision will be made by the Club organisers, and the Club Member of the Year will be announced at our special 10 year Club anniversary Dinner & Awards Night on 22nd November.

You can nominate as many club members as you like, except for yourself of course!
